Dr. Marla Dudak is a highly experienced breast surgeon with a distinguished career spanning over 23 years. Dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, Dr. Dudak brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and a proven track record in the field of breast surgery.
After completing her medical education at Duke University Medical School in 1995, Dr. Dudak pursued her passion for surgery with a five-year general surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital program in her hometown of Miami. Following her residency, she further honed her expertise through a prestigious one-year fellowship in breast care at UT Southwestern under the guidance of Dr. George Peters.
For the past two decades, Dr. Dudak has been a dedicated full-time private practice surgeon, specializing exclusively in breast disease. She has performed over 4300 breast surgeries, primarily focused on breast cancer, and has become renowned for her comprehensive approach to patient care.
Dr. Dudak's commitment to her patients extends beyond the operating room. She personally conducts ultrasounds and biopsies in her office, provides genetic counseling as a certified cancer genetics counselor, and offers support and guidance to individuals facing various breast health concerns.
